About this Journal
I've been writing this since Valentine's Day 2005. In my first entry, I unintentionally made a reference to "Lovejournal".

I'm going to start using this again. I stopped partly out of laziness, and party because I switched to Twitter. Since I stopped posting serious biographical entries, the 140-character limit wasn't a problem, and more of my friends were active there. But now I find myself trimming and replacing words to fit in about half my posts, and frequently running on into two or three. So I'm going to start using this partly for long posts that I'll link to from Twitter, and partly for just other stuff I want to say that doesn't fit the Twitter style. There might be some visual changes, but since most people use their friends pages, you'll probably only see new userpics.

Jul. 30th, 2008 @ 11:03 pm This is my new favorite way of describing CWRU:
Current Location: Just out of Reach - The Zombies
I've got a feeling: nerdynerdy
Play the tape machine: Between cookies and cans
Every week or so, I find myself in a situation where, if there were another of me in the room, he'd be shouting "NERD! NERRRRD!". I almost never shout it myself because I'm usually a major contributor to the conversation in question.

Dr. Pepper has his Ph.D. in Tastynomics.
Go away, Mr. Pibb. Come back when you've got an education.
If I were going to kill someone, I'd do it in the middle of the woods on the full moon with a silver bullet. Then I'd rip his clothes a couple times and maybe throw some rabbit blood around, just to fuck with people.
Regarding Bush's grammar: Do we have a LOLpresident?
God damn Franz Ferdinand songs are catchy (yes, I'm only four years behind the music scene. I consider that pretty good.)
There's a lot of cool costume stuff I could actually do. Examples: Number Six, Centauri, PsiCorps member.

Thinking about possible majors and the classes I'd need to take gets way more interesting when I start to think about minors as "prestige classes". To follow up on my last entry, I went favored soul. It's working out pretty well. If I ever get into another game of D&D 3.5 (4th edition comes out in a few months) I'm majoring in Beguiler, with a minor in Dragon Disciple.

D&D starts tomorrow. I'm thinking elf, probably either bard or favored soul. Favored soul is like a cleric, only with sorcerer-style ("spontaneous") spell-casting. Instead of turning undead and heavy armor proficiency, you get a few bonuses with your deity's weapon, an energy resistance every 5th level, and just for the hell of it, wings (which do allow you to fly) at level 17.

Gnome Warlock

Gnomes are strange little things. Fascinated with gadgets and shiny things, gnomes are often plotting and planning - but are pretty smart, despite all the explosions.

You're a creepy, creepy warlock. You delight in the darker things in life - such as setting people on fire, and delight in the macabre. You'd probably fake your own death just to freak people out by getting up from the casket at your funeral.
